Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Ghana and Sierra Leone in a T20 Quadrangular Tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points for matches involving Nigeria, Ghana and Sierra Leone), with NCF fielding their “A” squad as the fourth (4th) team in the event, from September 21st – 26th, 2026, at the Tafewa Balewa cricket oval in Lagos.
For Nigeria, this event will continue their preparations towards the upcoming 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-regional Qualifier C at home next month, as they stake their challenge for one of the two (2) qualification spots from the tournament into the Africa Qualifier next year. They have been on tour of Namibia earlier this year for a T20I Tri-series and a One-day series in June 2026. For Sierra Leone, this would be a Back-to-Back overseas assignment, as they would travel to Nigeria from Rwanda, where they competed in the ILT20 Africa Continent Cup this month.
