Norway men’s squad announced for T20I Tri-series in Germany in August 2021

Norway Cricket national selectors have announced a 16-member men’s squad to take part in the upcoming T20I Tri-series in Germany from August 05th – 08th, 2021. Norway be competing against Germany and France in a double round-robin format, following which the top 2 teams in the points table will play in the final on the 8th August 2021.

The matches will be played at the German Cricket Federation’s Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground in the city of Krefeld. After a long gap of no International games for the nationals squad throughout 2020 and the disappointment of the cancellation of the European sub-regional qualifiers for T20 World Cup in 2021, The Tri-series will be the first assignment for the squad before heading to Spain in September to take part in the inaugural edition of European Cricket Championships (ICC approved T10 International tournament).

Norway’s previous multi-nation tournament campaign came during the Europe Regional Finals qualifiers held in Guernsey in 2019, where they competed against the likes of Jersey, Germany, Italy, Denmark and Guernsey. Norway representative squad did however tour Denmark in July 2020 to play unofficial T20 matches and the full results can be found here from the tour.
