Oman and UAE played out a highly competitive 2-match OD (50-overs) series at Al Amerat on 03rd & 04th Apr 2019, before heading for their respective assignments in the African region.

While Oman will be travelling to Namibia to take part in the ICC WCL Division 2 tournament, UAE will undertake their first ever bi-lateral ODI series in Zimbabwe. Both sides were playing their full strength XI’s in the two matches and both the games were closely fought with one win each for Oman and UAE.

Zeeshan Maqsood and Aqib Ilyas made their comebacks into the Oman squad after missing out the T20I quadrangular series against Ireland/Scotland/Netherlands and the 3-match OD series against Scotland in Feb/Mar 2019.
