The two undefeated teams so far in the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 in Oman, the hosts and USA, are set for the exciting group fixture, that would confirm one of the qualification spots into WCL Division 2 tournament in 2019.

While USA edged past Denmark in a tense group phase game, Singapore kept alive their qualification chances by dispatching the challenge from Uganda easily.

Singapore play Kenya in their next encounter, a must win match for both the team’s to have any realistic chances of challenging either of Oman or USA, whoever ends up on the losing end in their encounter. With winner between USA and Oman match to grab one of the 2 spots on offer, the battle for the final spot will enter the final round of matches for the remaining contenders.

The campaign for both Denmark and Uganda ended after their defeats to USA and Singapore respectively; however, their qualification hopes for 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup is not yet over, with both now set to take part in the revamped ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League groups A & B to vie for a spot into ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers play-off’s tournament.
