Singapore Cricket Association’s Elite Player Series has been quickly developing into an International tournament of sorts, providing exposure to Singapore national players and Singapore club based players in the past couple of years. Further development in the previous edition saw players from Malaysia and Nepal take part in the tournament and the 2019 edition is expanding it’s reach to more International players to come and play in Singapore.
The 2019 edition will see players from Malaysia, Oman, Uganda and Botswana taking part in the 3-team Elite Player Series, to be played in both T20 and 50-overs formats from Feb 06th – Mar 18th, 2019.
Uganda players Roger Mukasa and Charles Waiswa will represent SG Crescents squad, while Kenneth Waiswa will play for SG Crimsons. Botswana’s Karabo Mothlanka and Oman’s Sufyan Mahmood will also be playing for SG Crimsons.
Botswana’s Adithya Rangaswamy and Malaysia’s Virandeep Singh will turn out for SG Stars in the tournament. All matches will be played at the Indian Association ground. Singapore Cricket Association will provide the necessary accommodation along with fooding and match fees for the players.
