Cricket Oman’s women’s team will embark on a historic tour of Malaysia for a T20 series which will mark the team’s first ever Bi-lateral series outside the gulf region.

“We have a good squad of young promising players who have been training together for the last couple of years. This series is going to be a great learning experience for them as it will expose them to different playing conditions,” said Vaishali Jesrani, team manager and Women’s Cricket Co-ordinator at OC.

“In the absence of a GCC championship this year, tour of Malaysia presents a great opportunity for us to test ourselves against quality opposition. Malaysia, which had recently participated in ICC Asia qualifiers, is a decent side with some experienced players. We are looking forward to a great series and will try our best to give a good account of our skills and ability,” said Vaishali.

Oman will be playing their first match on December 27th, followed by games on December 28th and 29th. All matches will be played at Kinrara Oval ground in Kuala Lumpur.
