Pakistan beat South Africa & MCC to remain unbeaten in 2017 Hong Kong Sixes

Pakistan’s love for Hong Kong Sixes has taken firm grip in the 2017 edition as they remained unbeaten in the group stage after registering victories over South Africa & MCC, following their win over Hong Kong earlier in the day.

Pakistan’s bowling was the mainstay against both South Africa & MCC. South Africa could only manage 74/4 in their 5 overs while MCC only managed to score 83/4 in their 5 overs.

Hammad Azam scored 36 off 10 deliveries against South Africa and picked up 2/15 against MCC. Sohail Tanveer contributed with the bat in both the matches (18 off 4 vs SA and 35 off 8 vs MCC).

Mohammad Sami has been their best opening bowler giving away only 10 & 9 runs respectively in the first overs in both the matches.

Pakistan and South Africa qualify for the semis from Group B.
