The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have announced the groups and match schedule for Men’s Prime Minister One-Day Cup from October 30th – November 12th, 2022 at two venues in Tribhuvan University ground and Mulpani cricket ground. The national squad players will get to play 50-overs format matches, before the national squad is selected to travel to Namibia for their CWC League 2 ODI Tri-series in November/December 2022. A total of ten (10) teams will compete for the title, with Group A comprising of teams from Nepal APF Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Karnali Province, Gandaki Province and Sudurpaschim Province, while Group B comprises of teams from Nepal Police Club, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province, Madhesh Province and Province Number 1.
At the conclusion of the single round-robin group stage format, the top four (4) teams from both the groups will advance to the semifinals of the tournament. The national squad will be in Namibia from November 30th – December 09th, 2022 for the ODI Tri-series comprising of the host’s and Scotland.
