Cricket PNG (Papua New Guinea) have announced that the Men’s National squad will be on tour of Asia region in February 2024 to start their preparations towards 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June. The team will visit Puducherry Cricket Association in India for a training camp that will include practice matches in both 50-overs and T20 formats, followed by tour of Oman for a bi-lateral series comprising of matches in both the formats, and will conclude their Asian tour by visits to Hong Kong and Malaysia for matches in the T20I format.
After they come back home, the players will stay engaged in the domestic competitions, with the Men’s Isuzu T20 Smash tournament scheduled to take place from March/April 2024, followed by 40-overs tournament in September 2024.
