Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) have announced that Papua New Guinea will be travelling as part of the return series for the just concluded away tour by Hong Kong to take part in two series in both T20 and 50-overs formats.
PNG will be taking part in 2018 West Pacific Cup, featuring Hong Kong national squad and Hong Kong “A” in a T20 Tri-series, followed by three 50-overs matches against Hong Kong for the 2018 South China Cup.
The 2018 West Pacific Cup will be played in a double round-robin format, from which the top 2 team’s will contest the final. The Tri-series will take place from 23rd – 27th Oct, 2018 at Tin Kwong Road recreation ground.
Hong Kong and PNG will then play three 50-overs matches for the 2018 South China Cup from 28th Oct – 01st Nov, 2018 at the same venue.
