Cricket Portugal to host Men’s T20I Tri-series in April 2026
Cricket Portugal (Federação Portuguesa de Cricket) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of France and Norway in a Men’s T20 International Tri-series tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from April 05th – 09th, 2026 at the Santarem Cricket Ground. All the teams will play against each other in a triple round-robin group stage format, following which, the top two (2) teams in the points table will compete in the final for the Title.
This series will see the first-ever meeting in Men’s T20Is between France and Portugal. All these three (3) teams will be in action during the European summer in their respective sub-regional qualifiers towards qualification pathway for 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand (France travel to Cyprus for sub-regional qualifier A, Norway travel to Denmark for sub-regional qualifier B and Portugal travel to Finland for sub-regional qualifier C), and this series will start their preparations towards it.
