Malawi Cricket Union (MCU) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Tanzania, Bahrain and Germany in the Quad Nations T20 Cup tournament from July 05th – 13th, 2025 at the TCA Oval in Blantyre. The tournament will be known as the “Arjun Menon Memorial”, in remembrance for Malawi Cricket Operations Manager Mr. Menon, who tragically lost his life after the 48-year-old had been “brutally murdered” at his residence in Blantyre, as per Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) statement issued last month.
For Malawi and Tanzania Teams, this tournament will be crucial to begin their preparation towards the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier in Zimbabwe in September 2025. Much like the recently announced Quadrangular series in Uganda, involving a team from a different region (UAE), the Quad Nations Cup is also a rare Inter-Continental tournament featuring countries from three (3) different ICC regions (Bahrain from Asia and Germany from Europe).
