Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) is going to organize the Women’s domestic T10 competition (Rwanda Women’s T10 League) from March 04th at the Gahanga International cricket stadium in Kigali. The tournament will feature teams from Gahanga Queens, Charity Women CC, Indatwa Hampshire Women CC, White Clouds CC and Sorwathe Women CC competing in the competition in a single round-robin group stage format. This will be the first domestic tournament for Women’s players in Rwanda in 2023, after English County Club of Hampshire completed a pre-season tour of Rwanda in the month of February 2023. The previous domestic T20 tournament for the Women’s players took place last year in October 2022, where Indatwa Hampshire Women were victorious after edging out Queens of Victory Women CC for the title based on Net run-rate.
The tournament continues Rwanda Women’s preparations towards defending their Title in the second (2nd) edition of Nigeria Women’s T20 Tournament in March 2023, where they will be competing against the likes of the host team, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia and Cameroon.
