Rwanda wrap up series against Zambia with one match to go

Zambia National men’s team made a brief comeback in the 5-match T20 series against Rwanda as they won the 3rd game to make the scoreline 2-1, but were left undone by weather in the 4th match to go down via Duckworth/Lewis in a last over thriller to hand Rwanda the series win with the last match to be played on 20th May 2018.

Zambia finally managed to get their chasing abilities on the front foot as they chased down a 140+ target in the 3rd game to spark some life into the series but overall Rwanda men’s squad have been the shot makers in the series so far.

The final game of the Series will be followed by the Awards Dinner function before Zambia departs on 21st May 2018 and Rwanda turn their attention towards ICC WorldT20 Africa “B” qualifiers, their next scheduled International assignment for now.

Madaliso Mvula (Zambia) leads the run-scorers list for the series so far with 121 runs from 4 games while Orchide Tuyisenge (Rwanda) following behind with 116 runs from 3 games so far. In the bowling charts, Misheck Malama (Zambia) leads the table with 7 wickets from 4 games, followed by Eric Niyomugabo (Rwanda) with 5 wickets from 3 games.
