Trinbago Knight Riders pick up Nepal and USA players for 2021 CPL

Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 franchise Trinbago Knight Riders have picked up Sandeep Lamichanne to be part of their squad for the upcoming 2021 season, after retaining USA player Ali Khan during the squad retention announcement made a few days ago.

This will be the fourth franchise team for which Sandeep will be playing in the CPL, having represented St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Barbados Tridents and Jamaica Tallawas in the earlier editions of the tournament.

Ali Khan has already been part of the twice championship campaigns for Trinbago Knight Riders and is an integral part of their squad set-up.

The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been given the green light for the 2021 edition of the tournament to be played in its entirety at Warner Park, St. Kitts from August 28th with fans being allowed back in the stadium.

The CPL hosted in a “bio-secure’ bubble and behind closed doors in Trinidad in the 2020 edition, with the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) creating history with an unbeaten fifth title.
