United Arab Emirates are set to tour Zimbabwe for a 4-match ODI series in Apr 2019. It was reported earlier that Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) were in talks with Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) for a possible tour before Afghanistan visited Zimbabwe for a 5-match ODI series in Apr 2019 as well.
UAE will play Zimbabwe on 10th, 12th, 14th & 16th Apr 2019 at Harare Sports Club during their ODI series tour. UAE last visited Zimbabwe during 2018 ICC World Cup Qualifiers, where they won their match against the host’s during the event.
For Zimbabwe, it will be Hamilton Masakadza’s first assignment after being appointed as the national squad captain in all three formats foe the country. UAE will once again regain the services of Rohan Mustafa, Ahmed Raza and Rameez Shahzad, as the trio were under suspension during their recently concluded ODI and T20I series against Nepal at home.
