In a rare cross-continental cricket series, Germay’s Women’s squad will undertake a tour of Oman from Feb 03rd – 09th, 2020. Germany Women will play a 4-match T20I bi-lateral series with the host’s with ranking points on offer towards ICC Women’s T20I team rankings.
Oman Women made their T20I debut in a 3-nation Tri-series held in Qatar in Jan 2020, where they competed against Women’s squads from Qatar and Kuwait. Germany Women made their T20I debut during the European Qualifiers held in Spain in 2019 against Scotland and Netherlands.
Both the teams played out a 35-overs fixture on 3rd Feb 2020, in which Oman Women were victorious by a big margin, with Germany Women also putting up a credible performance with the bat.
