The Men’s East Asia Cup is back for another edition and Cricket Hong Kong will be hosting the tournament in 2018 from Sep 13th – 16th, 2018.
Hong Kong will host International team’s from China, Korea and Japan, along with CHK Dragons team, to form the 4-team tournament, to be played across various venues including Hong Kong Cricket Club, Kowloon Cricket Club and The Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
It was reported earlier that Korea would be unable to participate due to cut in funding for the sport since it was not included in the 2018 Asian Games, and were being replaced by The Hong Kong Development XI. However, the updated schedule on Cricket Hong Kong’s website list Korea in the fixtures list.
The tournament provides crucial opportunity for China (Asia), Korea and Japan (East Asia-Pacific), as they will be involved later in respective regional qualifiers for ICC World T20.

13th Sep 2018: China vs Korea @Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground (9:30 am) ; Japan vs HK Dragons @Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground (1:30 pm)
14th Sep 2018: Korea vs Japan @Hong Kong Cricket Club (9:30 am) ; HK Dragons vs China @Hong Kong Cricket Club (1:30 pm)
15th Sep 2018: HK Dragons vs Korea @Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground (9:30 am) ; Japan vs China @Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground (1:30 am)
16th Sep 2018: 3rd/4th Play-off @Kowloon Cricket Club (9:30 am) ; Final @Kowloon Cricket Club (1:30 pm)
