The next generation of Scottish aspiring players along with few national squad members travel to Bath to play two T20’s and 50-overs matches against Gloucestershire 2nd XI and Bath CC from 21st -23rd Apr, 2018.
Scotland International’s George Munsey, Michael Leask and Craig Wallace have been named in the 14-member squad, that also includes U-19 captain James Dickinson and team-mate Owais Shah. The matches provide valuable exposure to young hopefuls, who would like to put up good performances to stake a claim in the 20-man squad to be announced by Scotland selectors in early May, to prepare for the June internationals against Pakistan and England.
Head Coach Grant Bradburn said “The ‘A’ team programme is an important pathway to the national team and we look forward to getting the new season underway in Bath this weekend.”
