Scotland duo sign up with Durham Cricket for a short Vitality T20 Blast stint

Scotland Internationals Kyle Coetzer and Alasdair Evans have joined up with Durham Cricket Club for a short Vitality T20 Blast stint for two matches on loan, after few playing squad are currently self isolating due to a coronavirus case. Coetzer and Evans will take part in the game against the Birmingham Bears at Emirates Riverside ground on 20th June 2021.

Coetzer is a familiar face in the Durham set-up, having played for them from 2004 until 2011 and has extensive experience in the T20I matches having made more than 1300+ runs in the format, while Evans will be making his debut for the club, having also played in 27 T20I games and picking up 36 wickets with his pace bowling. Both the players were scheduled to take part in the regional series games on 20th June 2021, but instead will now make their Blast T20 appearance for Durham.
