Zimbabwe national squad member Sikandar Raza has withdrawn himself from participation in the upcoming 2018 Everest Premier League in Nepal from Dec 08th – 22nd, 2018. Raza confirmed the news on his Facebook and twitter social accounts.
Gutted to announce that I will not be part of @eplt20official for this season .
I wish the tournament and my team @kathmandukingsxi very best of luck and hope to be part of it next year.

Raza was scheduled to play for Kathmandu Kings XI franchise in the T20 league in Nepal and was one of three overseas professionals in the squad as per the tournament rules. No official statement has been made form the franchise yet on the development or any further update on whom they will be signing on as Raza’s replacement in their squad for the tournament.
