Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) will be hosting the U19 Women’s National team of Sri Lanka for a practice T20 series from December 04th – 08th, 2024, where the Sri Lankan team will play three (3) matches against Malaysia Women select XI and two (2) matches against Malaysia U19 Women. The practice series will be part of preparations for both Sri Lanka and Malaysia U19 teams, ahead of the inaugural edition of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U19 Women’s Asia Cup tournament in Malaysia from December 15th – 22nd.
Both Malaysia and Sri Lanka U19 Women are in the same group in the U19 Asia Cup, and both the countries will be in action in January/February 2025 in Malaysia for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, where they are again placed in the same group.
