St Cross Symondians announce squad for T20 clash with Nepal

St Cross Symondians Cricket Club have announced their squad of XI for the T20 match against the visiting Nepal national cricket team. One of the most prominent Cricket Clubs in Hampshire, the club has selected a number of first-class experienced players with the likes of Jimmy Adams to feature in the match, which will start at 4 pm British Standard Time (8:45 pm Kathmandu Time).

Nepal played their first match on their tour of UK with a 50-overs match against Hampshire Hogs Cricket Club, which they have won comfortably after racking up a huge total, batting first. St Cross, however, is a much more reputed clubs in Hampshire and will pose a much more prominent threat to Nepal in the T20 match.

Jimmy Adams has played 135 T20’s in his illustrious career so far, making 2643 runs at a strike-rate of over 120. Tom Scriven was part of England U19 squad in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in Jan 2018 in New Zealand. Currently, some of the players are playing for Hampshire 2nd XI team in the 2nd XI T20 competition in English County Cricket.

St Cross will look to live stream the match on their Facebook page and will update the scores from the game accordingly. The match will be the 2nd practice match for Nepal in the four games scheduled before their participation in MCC T20 Triangular tournament on 29th Jul 2018 against MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) and Netherlands.
