Cricket Sweden will host the Women’s national squad from Norway from August 27th – 29th, 2021 for a 3-match series at Guttsta Wicked Cricket Ground in Kolsva. The two teams will play each other in two (2) T20 games on 28th August, followed by a solitary WT20I game on the 29th.
Both the teams will take part in a skills training session on 27th August, conducted by Jonty Rhodes and Dominic Telo. Players from both the camps have taken part in the domestic T20 competitions held at home in the August to prepare for the series and while Norway feature in the ICC Women’s T20I team rankings due to their participation the 4-nation Women’s quadrangular series in France in 2019, the WT20I game will mark Swedish Women’s debut in the format.
