Cricket Canada (CC) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Bermuda, Bahamas and Cayman Islands from June 15th – 22nd, 2025 in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier. The winner of the Qualifier will advance to the main event, scheduled to take place from October 03rd – 17th, 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. While Canada team retained their place in the Americas Qualifier directly on virtue of their finishing position in the 2024 edition held in the US and the Caribbean Islands, the remaining three (3) teams confirmed their spots from the Americas Sub-regional Qualifier held in Argentina in December 2024.
All the teams have recently played against each other during the inaugural edition of North American Cup held in Cayman Islands, and unlike the previous regional final qualifiers for earlier T20 World Cup editions, the lesser-ranked teams in the competition this time will have the experience of playing the likes of USA and Canada before competing in the ICC regional finals.
