Czechia Cricket to host Women’s T20I Tri-series in September 2026

Czechia Cricket will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Belgium and Portugal in a T20 International Tri-series tournament (with ICC T20I team ranking points) from September 04th – 06th, 2026, at the Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague. The teams will play against each other in a double round-robin group stage format, before the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the points table compete in the Qualifier to meet the top team in the Final.

All the teams will also be meeting against each other for the first time in T20Is during this Tri-series, while this will be only the second (2nd) time that Portugal Women will be in International action, having made their T20I debut last year at home in April, against Norway.

Estonia Cricket to host Czechia Women for T20I series in September 2025

Estonia Cricket Association (Eesti Kriket) will be hosting the Women’s National team from Czechia (Czech Republic) for a three (3)-match bi-lateral series in T20 format (with ICC team ranking points) on September 06th and 07th, 2025. This will be the maiden bi-lateral Women’s series between the two (2) teams and in turn, will mark the first-ever meeting in T20Is between them.

Romania Cricket to host Czechia Men for T20I series in August 2025

Cricket Romania will be hosting the Men’s National team of Czech Republic (Czechia) for a four (4)-match T20 International series (with ICC team ranking points) on August 21st and 22nd, 2025 at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground, Ilfov County, Bucharest. This will be the first matches between the two (2) teams after a gap of more than three (3) years, with their last meeting having taken place in Malta in May 2022.

Czechia Cricket to host 2nd edition of Women’s Central Europe Cup in June 2025

Czech Cricket Union will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Gibraltar and Austria for a T20 International Tri-series (with ICC ranking points) from June 11th – 13th, 2025 in Prague for the 2nd edition of the Women’s Central Europe Cup (CE Cup). Gibraltar Women’s team are the Defending Champions from the inaugural edition held in June 2024.

Czechia Cricket to host Cyprus Women for T20I series in May 2025

Czechia Cricket will be hosting the Women’s National team of Cyprus for a five (5)-match T20 International series (with ICC team ranking points) from May 02nd – 04th, 2025 at the Vinor Cricket ground in Prague. Both teams will meet each other for the first time in the T20I format, and also makes this the maiden bi-lateral series arrangement between the two (2) cricket boards. Cyprus Women will also be playing their first-ever T20Is against Women’s teams from Jersey, Denmark and Isle of Man during the quadrangular series at home in April 2025, hence, they are definitely beginning to expand their reach in terms of playing against more opponents in the European region.

Guernsey Cricket to host 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C in August 2024

Guernsey Cricket will be hosting the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier ‘C’ from August 21st – 28th, 2024. Men’s National teams from host’s Guernsey will be joined by Spain, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece and Estonia in the 10-nation event. The tournament will have two (2) groups of five (5) teams each, competing in a single round-robin group stage format, from which the top team from both the groups will compete in the FINAL, while there will be position play-off games also scheduled till 7th/8th spots in the final standings from the tournament.

Men’s teams from host’s Guernsey, Bulgaria, Malta, Finland and Estonia are placed in one group, while the other group comprises of teams from Spain, Cyprus, Denmark, Czech Republic and Greece. The winner of the tournament will join Netherlands, Scotland, Italy (winner of sub-regional qualifier A) and Jersey (winner of sub-regional qualifier B) in the Europe Qualifier in 2025.

Czechia Cricket to host Central European Junior Cricket Festival in August 2024

Czechia Cricket will be hosting the U18 National Men’s team of Luxembourg for the inaugural edition of Central European Junior Cricket Festival from August 05th – 09th, 2024 at Vinor cricket ground in Prague. Both Czechia U18 and Luxembourg U18 teams will play against each other in T20, 50-overs and 2-day formats during the course of the event, with T10 matches also scheduled during the week involving two (2) mixed teams of Czechia-Luxembourg U18 players. The festival is being organized by Czech Cricket and European Cricket Network through their CricketsCool programme.

Czech Cricket to organize Women’s T20I Tri-series in June 2024

Czech Cricket Union will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Gibraltar and Croatia for a T20 International Tri-series (with ICC ranking points) from June 14th – 16th, 2024 in Prague for the Women’s Central Europe Cup (CE Cup). The series will follow the debut of Czech Women’s team in T20Is during their tour of Austria in the previous weekend in Seebarn.

This event will also be the second International outing for the Gibraltar Women’s team, having made their T20I debut during their home series against Estonia in April 2024. Croatia Women though, will be playing their maiden T20Is during this tri-series. Croatia and Czech teams have played against each other, but in the T10 format during their series played back in November 2023.

Austrian Cricket Association (ACA) will be hosting the Women’s National team of Czech Republic on June 08th and 09th, 2024 at Seebarn cricket ground. These will be the maiden International games (carrying ICC rankings points as well) for the Czech Republic Women’s team, who have been playing the German Women’s League for the past couple of seasons now to get competitive game-time, as they keep developing the National team.
