Cricket Thailand have announced the 15-member Women’s squad, which will take part in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s Asia Cup in Malaysia from Jun 01st – 11th, 2018. Thailand Women will compete against Women’s team from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and host’s Malaysia in the tournament, which will be played in the T20 format.
The tournament will provide Thai Women’s team the much required competitive game time against top International team’s from the region before they head to Netherlands for ICC Women’s WorldT20 qualifiers. Thailand Women recently dominated the ASEAN Women’s T20 Cup tournament hosted by themselves as well, as they stayed unbeaten throughout the competition to emerge as the winners of the trophy.
