Thailand Women’s team will be participating in the Global Qualifiers for Women’s WorldT20 tournament in Netherlands in Jun 2018 and the ASEAN tournament provides perfect opportunity for Thailand to get much-required game time before the qualifiers.

Both Thailand and Malaysia Women’s teams are scheduled to take part in Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s Asia Cup tournament to be held in Malaysia in Jun 2018 as well making this a very busy period for both the teams. For Bhutan, it will be a rare opportunity to play an International event and the 14-member squad selected for the tourney will be pumped up to represent the nation in an event of big stature. The tournament will only be their 12th International event after their first ever appearance coming in ACC Women’s T20 Championship in Malaysia in 2009.
