Stepping up preparations for the upcoming ICC WCL Division 2 in Feb 2018 in Namibia, Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have announced an ODI Tri-series with Ireland and Scotland in Jan 2018.
UAE will play 2 matches against both the sides at ICC Academy grounds in Dubai. Ireland and Scotland will also have the opportunity to get good match time in the middle ahead of ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Mar 2018 in Zimbabwe, a 10-team event in which UAE can also qualify of they finish in top 2 of WCL Division 2.
It was reported in European media sources that Netherlands were also looking to get involved in this series but nothing has been confirmed yet.

16th Jan 2018 – Scotland v Ireland, ICC Academy
18th Jan 2018 – Scotland v Ireland, ICC Academy
21st Jan 2018 – UAE v Scotland, ICC Academy
23rd Jan 2018 – UAE v Scotland, ICC Academy
