UAE announce squad for 2018 Emerging Nations Cup

Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have announced the UAE squad for the upcoming 2018 ACC Emerging Nations Asia Cup, to be jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. UAE are placed in Group B of the 8-nation tournament, where they will compete against Hong Kong, Bangladesh, and host’s Pakistan.

The 2 top teams at the end of round-robin stage from Group B will travel to Colombo to compete in the knock-out stage. UAE played their last 50-overs tournament during the 2018 Asia Cup qualifiers and qualified for Emerging Nations Cup by finishing in the top 3 of the tournament along with Hong Kong and Oman.

The full member nations (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Afghanistan) will be sending their U23 squads to the tournament with 4 players above the U23 age-group allowed per squad, while the Associate member nations are allowed to field their senior squad.

06th Dec 2018: vs Bangladesh @South-End Ground Club, Karachi
