Malaysia women did a good job with the ball as they restricted UAE women to 83/6 in their 20 overs. The innings was held together by the 46 runs partnership for the 4th wicket between Nisha Ali (36 n.o off 51) and Udena Dona (22 off 26). Nur Arianna Natsya (3/9) and Zayani Syamini (2/9) were the pick of the bowlers for Malaysia women.

Malaysia women did not get any momentum going in their innings as they ended up getting only 49/9 in their 20 overs to lose the match by 34 runs. Nisha Ali followed up with brilliant figures of 2/6 off her 4 overs and got good support from the rest of the bowlers to set up UAE’s record-breaking achievement.

Nepal women notched up an easy 52 runs victory against China women to end their campaign in the Asia region Qualifiers. Nepal women posted 102/8 in their 20 overs and bowled out China women for only 50 runs to win their 2nd game of the event.
