Cricket Uganda have announced a 15-member Select XI, that will take part in the upcoming “Cricket Builds Hope” tournament that starts on Sunday in Kigali, Rwanda.
The tournament is a lead up to the official opening of the Gahanga Cricket Stadium and will have Kenya, Uganda, hosts Rwanda and 6 invitational teams from the UK.

Roger Mukasa (Captain), Kenneth Waiswa (Vice-Captain), Simon Ssesazi, Arnold Otwani, Perry Wazombe, Steven Wabwose, Derrick Bakunzi, Abdallah Lubega, Rogers Olipa, Fred Achilam, Brian Masaba, Deus Muhumuza, Zephania Arinaitwe, Bilal Hassan & Riazat Ali Shah
Uganda’s national coach Steve Tikolo will be at the helm of the Select XI. Uganda is in placed in Group B and are joined in the group by 3 invitational sides from the UK which include the Yorkshire XI, Grannies and Surrey XI (Christopher Shale).
