Uganda announce tour of Qatar & India to prepare for WCL Division 4

Uganda Cricket have announced a big lead-up for the men’s national side before they take part in ICC WCL Division 4 in Malaysia in Apr 2018.

Uganda squad will travel to Qatar and then head to India to play a series of practice matches to prepare for the tournament which will see them compete against Jersey Islands, Vanuatu, Bermuda, Malaysia & Denmark.

“Our board of directors met on Tuesday night and accepted the invitations from Qatar and India for the team to tour the two countries as the matches will help our team prepare for the World Cricket League Division 4 tournament,” Martin Ondeko, an administrative officer of the Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) told Xinhua.

Uganda will play five games between February 6th – 13th in Qatar before heading for another four in India between February 15th – 23th.
