Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Zambia in the 2nd edition of West Africa Trophy (with ICC team ranking points) event from December 04th – 14th, 2025 at the NCF oval ground in Abuja. This tournament will mark the International return for Zambia Men’s team after their reinstatement as an ICC Associate member during the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), and will make their debut in the T20I format. The team, however, has already played in an International Quadrangular Tournament held in Kenya in June/July 2024, without official recognition for their matches.
Nigeria Men are the Defending Champions from the inaugural edition of West Africa Trophy held in October 2023, after winning the Final against Rwanda. Rwanda and Sierra Leone return back as recurring participants, while Zambia take the place of Ghana from the inaugural edition. All the teams will play against each other in a triple round-robin group stage format, before the top two (2) teams in the points table compete for the Title, and there will be a game for the 3rd/4th position play-off as well.
