Japan Cricket Association (JCA) will be hosting the Women’s National teams of Hong Kong-China, Mongolia, China and Philippines for the inaugural edition of Women’s Sano City International Trophy from June 03rd – 08th, 2025 at the Sano International cricket ground. The tournament replaces the Women’s East Asia Cup for this year, as the agreement made for the 2021-2024 period has now expired. All teams will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the 3rd/4th play-off and the FINAL.
The tournament will see Philippines Women play their first-ever T20I against all the other opponents in the competition. And this will also mark back-to-back International assignment for Philippines Women, as they head to Indonesia in April 2025 for the Kartini Cup, where they will play against the host’s and Cook Islands Women.
