Cricket Nepal to host Zimbabwe A for OD/T20 series

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have announced that they are going to host the “A” team from Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) for a bi-lateral series comprising of three (3) matches each, both in 50-overs and T20 formats from April 30th – May 09th, 2022.

With the Zimbabwe national squad to have a busy schedule leading up to them hosting the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Global qualifier B, the tour provides opportunities for the upcoming players in the domestic cricket to impress the selectors for future spots in the senior side. All the players have recently played in the 3-match Regional series (Northern vs Southern) and will be the basis of selection for the “A” squad. For Nepal, it is the continuation of home season after their recently concluded series (ODI and T20Is) against visiting teams from Papua New Guinea and Malaysia.
