Nepal Cricket to host UAE Men’s team for an ODI series in November

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have announced that they will be hosting the Men’s National squad of United Arab Emirates for a three (3)-match ODI series from November 14th – 18th, 2022 at Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur. The Nepal National squad will travel to Namibia post the conclusion of the series to play their next CWC League 2 ODI Tri-series with the host’s and Scotland.

UAE Men’s team also have a scheduled T20I home series against the visiting team from Afghanistan in December 2022, and after the early exit in the first round of 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia, the Nepal tour will start their preparations towards their next round of CWC League 2 series in early 2023. Nepal’s players are currently taking part in the PM ODI Cup tournament at home, which will be the benchmark event for squad selection for both the UAE series and Namibia tour.
