Romania Cricket to host inaugural edition of Women’s Continental Cup in August

Romania Cricket will be hosting the inaugural edition of Women’s Continental Cup T20I series from August 27th – 28th, 2022 at the Moara Vlasiei ground at Ilfov County, where they will host the Women’s team from Malta for the series, which will comprise of three (3) WT20Is matches. Romania Cricket have also lined up a Tri-series with teams from Serbia and Greece in September 2022 for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Balkan Cup T20I.

Both the Women’s teams from Romania and Malta are making their debut in WT20Is with this series, which was initially planned as a Tri-series with the involvement of Isle of Man Women’s team as well, but it did not materialize.
