Sri Lanka Cricket to host 2023 ACC Men’s Emerging Nations Asia Cup in July

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have been given the hosting rights for the 2023 Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Men’s Emerging Nations Asia Cup (Emerging Asia Cup) tournament from 14th – 23rd July, 2023. Men’s Emerging teams from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be joined by National teams from Nepal, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman, after the three (3) Associate members secured their spots by finishing among the Top 3 positions in the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup tournament held in Nepal in April.

Group A of the tournament will feature teams from India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and UAE A, while Group B of the tournament will feature teams from Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Oman A. All the teams in each of the groups will play each other in a single round-robin group stage format, after-which the top two (2) teams in the groups will advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
