Cricket Hong Kong to host Women’s Emerging Asia Cup in June 2023

Asian Cricket Council (ACC) have announced that the Women’s T20 Emerging Asia Cup tournament will take place in Hong Kong from June 12th – 21st, 2023 at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, and will be an eight (8)-team event featuring “A” teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, alongside teams from Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Nepal. The teams have been divided into two (2) groups, with Group A to comprise of Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, UAE and Malaysia and Group B comprising of India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and Hong Kong.

The top two (2) teams from each team at the conclusion of the group stages will advance to the semifinals of the tournament. Nepal Women replace Thailand A team in the competition, who were originally announced for the event.
