The Africa Cricket Association (ACA) is organizing the second (2nd) edition of Men’s Africa Cup T20 tournament in 2023, for which the regional qualifiers will take place to determine the final teams qualifying for the main event later this year. The Finals will take place at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, which is scheduled to take place from December 11th – 19th, 2023.
While the Southern qualifiers for the tournament took place from May 20th – 25th, 2023 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa (which hosted the inaugural edition of T20 Africa Cup Finals in September 2022), the North-Western qualifiers and Eastern qualifiers have been clubbed together and will also be taking place in Benoni, South Africa from December 06th – 09th, 2023. Men’s teams from Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA), Cricket Ghana, The Gambia Cricket, Cricket Kenya (CK), Cameroon Cricket Federation (FECA), Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) and Federation Malienne de Cricket (FEMA) will be competing in the qualifiers, with two (2) groups comprising of four (4) teams each. Group A will have teams from Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda and The Gambia, while Group B will have teams from Kenya, Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Mali, with the teams playing each other in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the semifinals and Final.
