Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) will be hosting the Men’s National teams of Maldives, China, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong-China, and Singapore for the 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Sub-regional Qualifier B tournament from October 08th – 14th, 2026, across venues of Bayumeas Oval, UKM Oval, and Selangor Turf Club. All the teams will be playing against each other in a single round-robin group stage format, following which, the top teams will advance to the Asia Final (how many qualification spots, whether two (2) or three (3), will be announced in due course of time).
As per the new qualification pathway designed by International Cricket Council (ICC), the Asia Qualifier will have two (2) qualification spots on offer, into the Global Qualifier.
