Cricket Finland to host 2028 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C in August 2026

The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the Europe qualification pathway for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028, featuring three (3) sub-regional qualification events (Sub-regional Qualifier A, Sub-regional Qualifier B and Sub-regional Qualifier C) to be staged across Cyprus, Denmark and Finland in 2026. Cricket Finland return to host another Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier, building on the legacy of having hosted two (2) European Sub-regional qualifier events in 2022.

Cricket Finland will be hosting Men’s National teams of Bulgaria, Czechia, Germany, Greece, Isle of Man, Israel, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain in Qualifier C from August 14th – 21st, 2026. The teams have been divided into two (2) groups, and will follow a single round-robin group stage format, followed by the Semifinals and the FINAL.

Group A: Spain, Isle of Man, Finland, Luxembourg and Bulgaria

Group B: Germany, Portugal, Czechia, Israel and Greece
