Cricket Scotland (CS) will be hosting the U19 Men’s National teams of Netherlands, Jersey, Denmark, Guernsey and Sweden in the 6-team Europe Division 1 Qualifier from 31st July – 06th August, 2025 for determining the one (1) qualifier into the 2026 ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in Zimbabwe and Namibia. Scotland U19 team won the previous Division 1 Qualifier in August 2023 in Netherlands and participated in the 2024 edition of the tournament in the Caribbean Islands, while teams of Jersey and Guernsey kept their places in Division 1 based on their finishing positions in the previous Division 1 Qualifier

U19 Teams of Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden qualified from Europe Division 2 Qualifier held in Copenhagen in July 2024. Chief Executive of Cricket Scotland, Trudy Lindblade, added “Cricket Scotland is thrilled to be hosting the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Europe Qualifier this summer. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the best young players from across Europe, as they compete to play at next year’s showpiece event in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Forfarshire, Arbroath, and Strathmore are three of our most historic and picturesque grounds, and we would encourage the Scottish cricketing public and local communities to come along and support the cricketing stars of the future. We are grateful to the International Cricket Council for the opportunity to host another major pathway event and we’re looking forward to a sunny week of exciting high-quality cricket.”
