Indonesian Cricket Association (ICA) will be hosting the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifier in Bali from May 14th – 20th, 2024. U19 Women’s teams from Indonesia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Samoa will be competing in a double round-robin group stage format for the lone qualification spot from the qualifier into the main draw of the U19 World Cup. Progress has been seen in the development of cricket at the age-group level in the Pacific countries, and is evident by the increase of participants (Samoa and Fiji) in this qualifier, as compared to the previous qualifier held in Indonesia in 2022, which was contested between only the teams from the host’s and Papua New Guinea.
