Oman Cricket (OC) will be hosting the “A” team of Afghanistan from October 12th – 23rd, 2023 in Muscat for a bi-lateral series comprising of two (2) matches in the 50-overs format and five (5) matches in the T20 format. The series is in preparations for the Oman squad ahead of 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in Nepal in October/November 2023.
AfghanAbdalyan (Afghanistan A team) will be travelling to Oman after their participation in the Asian Games 2022 Men’s Cricket competition in Hangzhou, where they will start their campaign in the quarterfinals against Sri Lanka. Oman team had a successful campaign in the recently concluded Gulf Cricket Championship in Qatar, where they won the Title after winning the Final against United Arab Emirates team.
