USA’s Ali Khan maintains his growth curve on the upwards as he registered his best bowling figures in 2018 Caribbean Premier League so far by lending a great helping hand in Trinbago Knight Riders victory over Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 27th match of the tournament.
Ali Khan made early in-roads into Guyana’s batting line-up, picking up the crucial wickets of former New Zealand player Luke Ronchi and Windies player Shimron Hetmyer in his first two overs to derail Guyana’s chase of 170/7 set by Trinbago Knight Riders.
He came back towards the end to pick up Guyana’s final wicket of Proteas player Imran Tahir to finish with a match haul of 3/22 in his 3rd over. Khan has already picked up two 3-wicket hauls against SKN Patriots and Jamaica Tallawahs earlier in the competition and now has 13 wickets from 8 matches for TKR in 2018 CPL.
Ali Khan currently is #4 in the top wicket-takers list in the tournament so far and few more good results will surely help his case in a big way to get more opportunities in other T20 leagues across the globe.
