Uganda announce squad for 2018 Africa T20 Cup

Cricket Uganda have announced the 13-member squad for the upcoming Africa T20 Cup from Sep 14th – 16th, 2018 in South Africa, as they start their preparations for ICC World Cricket League Division 3 in Nov 2018 in Oman.

Uganda replace Ghana in the tournament after the latter declined CSA’s invitation due to logistical issues after the initial announcement of the team’s taking part in the expanded 20-team 2018 edition. Uganda and Nigeria will be participating for the first time in Africa T20 Cup.

Uganda are placed in Pool A of the tournament, which comprises of the defending Champions, Kwazulu-Natal Inland, Kwazulu-Natal Coastal, Western Province and Easterns. All matches will be hosted by Kwazulu-Natal Inland province at Pietermaritzburg.
