Cayman Cricket (Cayman Islands) hosted the Men’s National team of Bahamas from March 28th – April 01st, 2024 for a 5-match T20 series (without ranking points) at Haynes Oval. The matches will be the first Internationals since they last played in October 2023 in Bermuda, while the Bahamas team will return to action for the first time since March 2023.

Ridiculous that these matches lack T20I status.
The whole concept T20I status for some games and not for others is becoming a mockery worldwide. There is no consistency and decisions which award games international status is too ad hoc. Along with The African Games and The South American Championships, this is just another example of how farcical it has become.
Something needs to be done.
