The 2023 domestic season for Men’s cricket in Cayman Islands began in March/April, and consisted of competitions in both T20 format and 40-overs format. The last couple of months saw the National squad members and other domestic players compete in the T10 format competition, and the Cricket Board is organizing National trial games for the players in September 2023, before the team travels to Bermuda for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas qualifier from September 28th – October 08th.
The National team qualified for the Americas Qualifier from the sub-regional qualifier tournament held in Argentina in February/March, and will compete against the host’s Bermuda, Canada and Panama for one qualification spot into the main event in the US and West Indies.
